How We Analyze
Every outlook on ForexNews.ai is built on a deterministic, rules-based engine — not opinion or guesswork. We compute objective Inner Circle Trader (ICT) and Smart Money Concepts (SMC) levels directly from live market data, then narrate those exact levels into a structured trade plan. Our analysis pipeline enforces code-level verification gates to validate numerical relationships, directional consistency, and pip calculations against the computed levels before publication.
The Levels We Compute
For each instrument, our engine calculates from recent candles:
- Previous & current day highs and lows (PDH/PDL, CDH/CDL)
- Previous & current week highs and lows (PWH/PWL, CWH/CWL) and the weekly open
- Premium / Equilibrium / Discount of the dealing range (75% / 50% / 25%)
- Swing highs and lows (market-structure pivots)
- Fair Value Gaps (FVG) — 3-candle imbalances
- Order Blocks — the last opposing candle before a displacement
- Session ranges — Asia, London and New York
Multi-Timeframe Framework
Daily outlooks work top-down across the Daily, 4H, and 1H timeframes to frame an intraday plan. Weekly outlooks step up to the Weekly, Daily, 4H and 1H timeframes and add the Power of Three (Accumulation → Manipulation → Distribution)relative to the weekly open. Where market structure presents a clear edge, outlooks provide level-based trade setups (entry model, entry zone, stop loss, targets and risk-to-reward). When market confluence is absent or data is incomplete, our engine explicitly reports a no-trade or neutral condition rather than forcing arbitrary levels.
Data Sources
Price and candlestick data are sourced directly from MetaTrader 5 (MT5) via our dedicated, low-latency bridge. Charts are rendered with TradingView Lightweight Charts, with the same computed ICT levels drawn as overlays. Daily outlooks refresh each trading day; weekly outlooks refresh for the week ahead.
Automated Analysis & Editorial Verification
The narrative for each market outlook is produced by an automated algorithmic system working strictly from the computed levels above, and is clearly labelled as automated analysis. Methodology, quality and disclosures are overseen by R Krishna (@RKRISH0101). Our broker and prop-firm reviews are structured from verified primary regulatory filings and commercial facts, with human editorial verification attached to each specific content revision date. Any subsequent content regeneration invalidates that verified status until re-audited.
Forex Broker Rating Methodology
Our broker ratings are completely independent from our technical market analysis. Each broker is scored across five core pillars:
- Regulation & Fund Safety (30% weight): Verification of active Tier-1 and regional licences (FCA, ASIC, CySEC, KNF, CBI), segregated client bank accounts, statutory compensation schemes, and negative balance protection.
- Real Trading Costs & Spreads (25% weight): All-in execution costs on major pairs and gold, factoring in raw spreads, per-lot round-turn commissions, overnight swaps, and absence of hidden account fees.
- Execution & Platform Suite (20% weight): Order routing transparency (ECN/STP vs dealing desk), slippage symmetry, and availability of modern trading suites (MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView integration, proprietary platforms).
- Withdrawal Speed & Reliability (15% weight): Verified payment processing turnaround, absence of arbitrary payout delays, and zero broker-imposed withdrawal surcharges.
- Customer Support & Transparency (10% weight): Availability of 24/5 or 24/7 multilingual support channels and institutional research quality.
Prop Firm Rating Methodology
Retail prop trading programs operate on simulated demo accounts with fictitious capital. We evaluate prop firms on their operational integrity and rule fairness across five distinct pillars:
- Payout Reliability & Track Record (30% weight): Verifiable history of prompt, unhindered performance reward payouts, operational longevity, and absence of spurious rule disqualifications.
- Rule Fairness & Drawdown Limits (25% weight): Static vs trailing loss limits, daily drawdown calculation basis (equity vs balance), weekend/news holding flexibility, and absence of hidden consistency hurdles.
- Pricing & Value (20% weight): Evaluation challenge fee relative to simulated account tier ($10K vs $100K benchmark), fee refundability on first payout, and realistic profit targets.
- Trading Environment & Platforms (15% weight): Simulated liquidity feed stability, slippage control during high-impact news, and supported platforms (MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXtrade).
- Support & Dashboard Analytics (10% weight): Real-time drawdown tracking clarity, trading journal features, and responsive support.
Limitations
Technical analysis describes probabilities, not certainties. Computed levels are derived from historical price and can be invalidated by news, gaps and changing liquidity conditions. Nothing here accounts for your personal circumstances.
